Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Veldwork Ltd, trading as Game On Travel ("we", "us", "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website www.gameon-travel.com. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

We use cookies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site work properly, remember your choices, and understand how it’s being used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage — where we say "cookies" in this policy, we mean all of these.

Cookies may be "first party" (set by us) or "third party" (set by another company whose service we use, such as an analytics or maps provider).

We group cookies into four types:

• Strictly necessary cookies needed for the website to work, for security, and to remember your cookie choices. These are always on and don’t need your consent, because the site can’t function without them.
• Functional cookies remember your preferences, such as language or details you’ve entered, to improve your experience.
• Analytics / performance cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it (for example, which pages are popular).
• Marketing cookies used to show you relevant advertising and measure how our campaigns perform.

We only set functional, analytics and marketing cookies with your consent, which you give through our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time (see Section 5).

If you use third-party features on our site — for example embedded maps, videos or social media — those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies.

You’re in control of non-essential cookies:

• Our cookie banner / preference centre — when you first visit, you can accept or reject each type of non-essential cookie. You can reopen it at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in our website footer to change or withdraw your consent.
• Your browser — you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.

For help managing cookies in common browsers, see the browser’s own support pages.

We may update this policy when our cookies change. The current version and date are shown below, and we’ll ask for fresh consent where the law requires it.

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, contact us at albe@gameon-travel.com, or Alberto Pereira on +44 7710 300189. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113.
