Some sports tours put you on a coach, hand you a lanyard, and move you through South Africa as if you’re freight. That’s not us.
With careers spent in travel and years spent in South Africa, Game On Travel is built around one belief: watching or playing your game in South Africa – Mzansi – should be the doorway to the country. We run small-group trips for adventurers who come for the game, and leave having fallen for the place itself, its people, its wildlife, its history.
What A Trip With Us Feels Like
One afternoon it’s Boerewors rolls and ice-cold Castle on the grass banks of Boland Park. Sunburnt, unhurried, and half-adopted by the locals around you before the tea break. The next, you’re the one on the court: a game of padel against some friendly local competition followed by a hearty barbecue (we call it a braai) on the beach. Then you’re off the beaten track entirely: a lodge on a private reserve run by people who know every animal on the land, and every reason it needs protecting.

Our maximum group size ranges from 12-16, with a minimum group size of 6 (though this can vary). We travel in convoy – two high-end / luxury vans – with trailers for luggage and sports equipment.
Small group sizes grant us access to parks, reserves and experiences that big tour groups would avoid.
It is important to note that we can only guarantee a departure once we’ve had a minimum number commit to a specific tour.
